Yknot what do you mean 'why else do you think we go out Mon-Thur'? And what's the (someone else wrote)'Star of David pioneer route'? By the way, I haven't cheated but I refer to the report as my 'stats' and 'performance indicators' when I hand them in to the elders. They just smile now - since I explained that handing in these slips is like working for a government department (which I have done) under a contractual/funding agreement. When I first said that to a MS, he said 'but this is God's government'. Yeah, right.

My Spanish is not what it used to be but it looks/reads like a summary of the Bible Teach book - to promote the Bible Teach book and Book Studies?

I just came from my elder's meeting
by BonaFide injust to review, i had my meeting today with the two elders who say a sister has accused me of "grinding" with her and thus porneia.
so i printed out several of your comments on how to defend myself.
i felt good about standing my ground, and repeating that i had not "grinded" with this ex-friend and that she wants to ruin the relationship i have now with the sister i am dating.. however, the two elders today really tried to pressure me.

BF whether or not you bother with details and the elders, it's time to take stock and own up - to yourself. It reads poorly of you to try and justify your actions by saying that the sisters wore mini skirts and low-cut tops and they said they wanted affection and they came on to you and ... and ... and ... It's off! Unless this is a bit of a joke - in which case too it is of poor taste. Here in Australia we've got a guy on national TV who keeps getting into public trouble and keeps justifying himself. You could take a page out of his book. It's boring. Women are over this sort of bullshit - JWs or not. I hope most men are over it too. Just own up to yourself. Please.

Ours was a few weeks ago and it was my first time with my two children (previously I attended the 3-day conventions on my own). I seriously cannot recall much and took about 4 pages of notes - in a small booklet. I spent most of my time rationing food and supervising quiet activities (colouring, drawing, colouring, drawing ...) for the children, as 'expected'. My non-witness husband joined us on Sunday and he was really just a third 'dependent'- with the added 'bonus' of providing a running critical commentry (sp?) about every talk (just about every point, really). The DC lost him totally when the speaker giving the public talk mentioned that this organisation was the only one approved by God's spirit. I too was lost on that point. Anyway, getting back to your post, that very first reply by Jamie got the gist of it: you don't have to go. And you don't have to justify, scheme, or pretend or be nasty about it. Just don't go if you don't want to. End of story. PS: on Sunday my 8-year-old very loudly declared to his father "It's boring at first, Dad, but you get used to it".

Did Being A Witness Make You Feel Better About Yourself?
by minimus insome persons need to feel they are validated because they don't have much going for them otherwise.
being a part of jehovah's organization makes them feel special.
being different from other religions makes them feel recognized,.
